Gone are the days when everyone gathered on the front porch and shared in the life of their community. But the needs of children for a safe and nurturing place to grow-up have not changed. The Front Porch Project® brings individuals and
communities together to increase awareness about child safety issues, acquire valuable intervention skills, and increase comfort and willingness to intercede on behalf of a child.
There are two half days of training, scheduled approximately 2-4 weeks apart. The time frame between training days is necessary for participants to encounter opportunities to practice their new intervention skills.
